CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT COORDINATION COMMITTEE HOLDS FIRST MEETING

The first meeting of the CDCC was held at the TEVETA Board Room on May 26th, 2017. The purpose of this committee is to ensure the processes for curriculum development are strengthened and new and revised curricula meet TEVETA quality standards. Made up of representatives from the Department of Vocational Education and Training, STEP, and TEVETA, a team from the recently relaunched GIZ project was also present. The GIZ team is now managing two projects – Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Development Program (CAADP) and Agriculture Technical Vocational Education and Training (ATVET). The CDCC will likely expand when additional agencies with training components join to ensure their curriculum and training programmes align with the increased quality norms emerging in Malawi.
