| Bravo to our colleagues in charge of the Skills and Technical Education Program (STEP) in Malawi for their EU award won for the music video Ngawazi Zakikazi (female champion).
STEP launched the song as part of last year’s International Women’s Day Celebrations and aims at breaking negative gender norms.
In 2018-2019 STEP will be awarding 600 bursaries to students, primarily women and vulnerable populations, to take skills training in the area of entrepreneurship, renewable energy, and construction. This photo shows women from Nkhata Bay in Northern Malawi who are participating in a bursary program to become certified solar panel technicians.
